CUT FILES TUESDAY | CAROL FIGUEIREDO | JANUARY 2022 HIP KITS

Hello Hip Kit! Carol here if a layout I made using one of the new January cut files as my background! I cut the Geo Frame three times on the new, exclusive, Cardstock Kit. I used the colors  Candyfloss, Cornflower, and Bluebird.

A lot of people asked me how I made the waterfall from one of my projects from December. So I decided to add it here. The link will be on the bottom of this post.

I decorated my waterfall with the floral ephemeras from Embelishment kit. For each page of my waterfall I added one flower, creating some clusters around it.

For the title I mixed 2 alphas, “YOU” from the main kit and the rest of the word “Beautiful” from the PL kit. I stitched on top with matching purple thread.

Here are some close ups from the details.

I stitched the bottom of my waterfall in place, lined with a card from the PL kit that I punched and cut create the texture of a notebook paper.

The transparent sticker and the puffy stickers are from the same kit.

When I was positioning my cut files on the white cardstock I was kind of bothered that one color was showing more than the others. As I was adding glue, one corner of one color went under the others and the effect was exactly what I was looking for! So I ended up intertwining the layers . I love how it looks like! After all done I sprinkled a little bit of Shimmerz – Plum Crazy Inklingz – Shimmering Watercolor from the Color kit.

Now, about the vido tutorial: Please, excuse my accent! I hope you can understand. One thing I forgot to mention on the video is that to add to your project, you CANNOT glue all the back of the waterfall. Otherwise it wont glide. So Use a little bit of glue, or a narrow tape to glue the top and bottom. Thats where I added the stitched on my project.

Click here to watch my very first YouTube video ever!

If you wish, add a tab or embellishment on the bottom card to hold it while you glide the pictures. I used a tab that came on my Embellishment kit.

Please show me what you made using this tutorial!

I hope it inspires you to create!
