Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with you. Today I’m sharing a layout inspired by the beautiful November Mood Board, designed by Melanie Baier-Goessl, which you can see here:
I was inspired by the leaves, the knitted plaid and the cup of tea and I knew that I had the perfect photo. I love Fall and I love going on a walk with the dogs, walking through the leaves, picking up acorns and chestnuts and then spending the rest of the day by the fire with a cozy blanket, tea and a book.
I wanted to use some of the exclusive Chipboard Argyle Frames, which are included in the October Embellishment Kit but then I decided to use the basic shape , where all the frames are nested in and I backed it with the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Sweater Weather – Favorite Jumper paper. Then I cut strips from the Gimme Some Pie paper and the Fall’in For You paper, glued them on my cardstock and then added the frame element.
Then I added my photo, which I layered with a card from the October Pocket Life Kit. I cut lots of leaves using the exclusive metal dies and arranged them in clusters on both sides of the frames and behind the photo, combined with fussy cut leaves and acorns and some die cuts. I also used one of the Clear Mixed Media Stickers, which you can find in the October Embellishment Kit. I cut it in two pieces and added them to my page.
For my title I chose one of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Sweater Weather – Cardstock Phrase Stickers, which are also included in the October Embellishment Kit.
I continue embellishing my page with wood veneer leaves which are included in the October Main Kit, chipboard stickers and die cuts.
I finished off with some enamel dots, which you can also find in the October Main Kit.
Here is my finished layout.I hope you like it and feel inspired to create a mood board based layout too. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day.
Anke xx
