Hello, Everyone!
It’s Carol here with my favorite mini album I ever made! Seriously, it came up so easy, and the papers and embellishments from the October kit worked so perfectly together!
When you open the ribbon, the album is divided into to parts. On the left I used a picture passing through the band to keep this part of the album closed. I positioned my ephemeras from the main kit in a way that you have to pull the picture out to see it. This way you can open the flaps from the left side.
The two band revel the flaps that hides pockets and more pictures!
When it’s opened, it revels two pictures that I made it pop with the cardstocks from the cardstock kit and a large acetate pocket that keeps some tags made with the PL kit with journaling and more pictures. I used some sequins between two acetate sheets to make a shaker box. How cute is it?
There is another shaker box on the right side of the album. This time it’s a pocket for a 5×7 picture. I framed it with carstocks and border punches, and embellished with the floral ephemera from the embellishment kit. Again, you have to pull the picture to see it.
Behind this shaker there is space for even more pictures!
On the right a simple layout with two pictures and a tag from the ephemeras package that came with the PL kit. To make it pop I used a mixed media and a cardstock sticker, both from the embellishment kit and
And lastly there’s a waterfall mini album, inside a mini album!
Very simple, yet so cute!
The pages under the pics are only a mat of patterned paper, one piece of cards from the PL kit, and some stickers from here and there…
Surprise, surprise! There’s a pop up on the last page!
It looks like it’s a lot of volume for inside the album, but it is not. It’s just the way that I fold the mat paper.
I really hope you like it! I had so much fun making this mini and I hope it inspires you!
By the way, the tutorial for this album you can find on Frances Long website. This is the second tutorial I followed from her (the first was with August kit) and both worked really well with Hip Kit Club! I can’t wait to make a Christmas version next month!
I love this! Can you please post a link to the tutorial? Beautiful book!
Hello, Terri! Happy New year!
