Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout for Mood Board Inspired Sunday using the super gorgeous October 2021 Hip Kits.  I am loving all of the beautiful exclusive products!!  Here’s my layout:

 

 

Here’s the mood board for November, isn’t it beautiful?!

 

 

I was completely inspired by the bottom left square of the mood board and created a mixed media background resembling it, using the paints from the October 2021 Color Kit.   The square above it prompted me to take the Nuvo drops from the color kit and use it as somewhat of a “paste”.  So I squirted the drops on and took a palette knife to spread it out a little.  I kept it pretty thick/chunky to keep that dimension.  There’s a really pretty sheen to it with some sparkle and I love how it turned out.

 

 

To create more of a watercolor background and to bring in some of the orange, I did the packaging technique using the Pecan Peach Nuvo Mica Mist and that color is just stunning! Lastly, I added in some splatters using the Lavender Lining  Nuvo Sparkle Spray and wow!! It has so much sparkle!

 

 

Our additional prompt was to use our border punches so I took out my notebook edge and birds on a line punches and punched them out using a few of the exclusive patterned papers.  I layered them all up, matted my photo with a few pocket life cards from the Pocket Life Kit and adhered everything down.

 

 

For my title, I used the “Sweater Weather” chipboard phrase sticker from the Main Kit and added a few of the wood veneer buttons from the Embellishment Kit around my title as well as in a few other places around my page.

 

 

Next, I embellished using the exclusive ephemera from the Main Kit and the die cut tags from the Pocket Life Kit.  I also fussy cut a leaf piece from one of the Pocket Life cards.  Even though I don’t do pocket scrapbooking, I really like to use all of the cards in so many different ways.  I even fussy cut a circle piece out of one of them and tucked it into the top of my photo cluster.

I added some of the enamel dots as a finishing touch and that completed my page!
