Hello friends!
Carol Figueiredo here with a layout I made using the September PL kit only . This kit is so versatile, not only for creating pocket pages, but full 12×12 (or even 24×12) layouts .
The idea of making a banner for this layout came from the tag card of the kit, pictured bellow. I fussy cut it and used it as a model to make more tags.
I also used some stickers from the Pink Fresh Studios Cardstock stickers that came with the kit to add different shapes and colors.
I didn’t cut all the cards into tag shapes, though. The jeans and notecard I used as is to create the layers. I only distressed the jeans and punched some holes on the notecard to look like it was ripped from a journal. It adds texture and dimension to the layout!
I used some pink cord from my stash to connect all the tags. It creates unit and adds movement to the layout. Besides, littles twirls and bows makes everything cuter, don’t you agree?
There was lots of negative space on my layout, so I add extra tags with the puffy stickers title on the bottom to balance it all. Of course, anywhere I could I sewed on my sewing machine! It’s all about the details!
I embellished my layout with the perfect exclusive HKC clear stickers and lots of Pink Fresh Studios “The Best Day” puff stickers and enamel dots.
You see? You don’t need full sheets of paper to create a fun layout. This is also a great idea to bust your stash of HKC scraps!
I would love to see what you created using all these ideas!
Thanks for reading, and please, leave a comment! I love to read them!
