Hey everyone! My layout today has been inspired by the gorgeous August mood board. There were so many fun and eye-catching elements featured in this month’s mood board that it was hard to just focus on one thing! After much debating, I decided to work with the pastel colors from the board to create this layout using August kits!
I have really enjoyed using the mandalas in this month’s kits in a variety of different ways! I wanted to create a bright and happy page that matches my daughter’s contagious smile in the photo. That was not hard to accomplish with the papers in the kit!

I grabbed embellishments from each kit! I also used Nuvo drops to line the clouds for a little extra dimension and interest.
The background was created using a combination of mediums inclusive of the Catherine Pooler inks included in the August Color kit; using the same ink pad, I’ve also included some tone on tone stamping!
