Hello crafty friends!

Today I would share with you my first project made for Hip Kit Club! What a feeling!

I found inspiration in the beautiful moodboard designed by Sophie Delorme, I was immediately impressed by the warm colours of this board and by the circular graphics that you can find in the wreath and the paint cans…I decided to create half circle using the amazing “so happy” HKC cut file and the other half with the doilies that I cut from the Paige Evans’s page…isn’t it amazing? This paper is contained in the colorful HKC August main Kit.

I used the outer part of the cut file as a guide to position the letters in the right place and with the right angle. I gave more depth to the title using the 3D foam squares. I love the tone on tone title, it’s so chic! Do you like it?

Then I had a nice relaxing moment fussy cutting the doilies, this is one of my favourite techniques and I use it really really often.

These doilies are amazing, so I decided to overlap a big doily and the central piece of another one…I love the 3D effect!

Before gluing and putting together all the elements I made some splatters on the white background using my acrylic block, the inks and just some splashes of water.
