Katarina back with you, today I’m sharing some mixed media fun I had using the July 2021 Color Kit as well as other July Kits.

The stamp from the Color Kit inspired me to create an interesting mixed media using the heat embossing and water resist technique. I stamped the stamp several times using the Versamark ink, then I used clear embossing powder and heat gun to melt it. Then I used all the colors from the color kit and applied them on the heat embossed stamping, which served as a water resistant barrier and stayed white. I love the effect!
I then played with the flowers from the July Embellishment Kit and created some really fun combinations of paper, fabric and chipboard layers.
For my title I used the word “Summer” from the Puffy Phrase Stickers from the Main Kit.
I used two moths and a little puffy butterfly creating a visual triangle on my page. I embellished it also with the Mini Chipboard Phrases and a couple of die cuts.
