AUGUST MOOD BOARD
So gorgeous, right?! All the Summer feels & that’s what sparked my creativity for today’s share. Here’s what I crafted with our July 2021 Hip Kits…
“Go.See.Do”
Whoa! How cool is this?! All the Summer vibes! Sun, sea & surf – a perfect Summer’s Day documented!
I couldn’t resist snipping up the larger hexagon FLOURISH Chipboard Frame – to not only frame my photo, but create my entire photo cluster! Before I layered it onto my page, I added some of the Clear Mixed Media Stickers onto my white cardstock base. This created a really cool ocean vibe, and mixed media look without any mess!
With my photo, Chipboard Frame and Clear Mixed Media Stickers in place, it was time to go wild with embellishing! I adorned & layered the page with a mix of the hexagons from the FLOURISH Wood Veneer Embellishments. I really love how effective this looks! Repetition in design is errrrything!
To cut through all the blue, and natural looking embellishments, I chose the bright yellow Go.See.Do Puffy Titles sticker as my title. To enhance it even more, I positioned this title over my layered hexagons and photo cluster. So eye catching, don’t you think?
This pop yellow title encouraged me to feature a few more yellow embellishments from the FLOURISH Ephemera.
For finishing touches, I distressed my 12 inch cardstock to reveal the gorgeous FLOURISH Escape pattern paper, and added a few flicks of Shimmerz: Jeni B Blue paint.
Such a stunning result! The July 2021 Hip Kits are really somethin’!
