Hi everyone, it’s Vicki here today to share a layout which is inspired by this month’s moodboard which you can see below my layout and using the June 2021 kits.
I was inspired by the colours, but also by the image on the top right which to me reminded me of icing on a cake. My additional challenges this month were to have a celebration theme and a horizontal design. I wanted to scrap this photo of my goddaughter blowing out the candles on her cake at her 18th birthday party. To achieve my horizontal design, I tore some strips of paper and placed across the page, rolling the edges to add some texture.

I used a fabulous exclusive cut file to represent a cocktail. I cut it and backed with some papers, including vellum for the bottle. I then used the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse to paint the liquid in the bottle.
I wanted the bottle and the title to be the stars of the page, so I placed the cut file to the left and assembled the title to the right of the page. I used the fabulous exclusive alpha plus a chipboard ampersand and the Pinkfresh Studio alpha which I painted with a mix of the blue and yellow embellishment mousse from the Colour Kit.
I finished by embellishing with some fussy cut florals and a puffy butterfly sticker.
