Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with you. Today I’m sharing a layout based on the gorgeous July mood board created by  Sophie Delorme. I really love  the soft pastel colors. For my layout I used the beautiful June Hip Kits.

 

 

And this is my layout:

 

 

I was inspired by the stripes, the clouds and the leaves and so I decided to make a layout with a leaf garland.

 

 

I picked out a Pocket Life card with black and white stripes which I wanted to use as my background and added a strip of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Delightful – Watermelon Ice paper  and a pink strip of the Pinkfresh Studio – Happy Blooms – Handkerchief paper above and below the Pocket Life card.

 

 

Then I cut leaves in different shapes and sizes from the Pinkfresh Studio – Happy Blooms – Handkerchief paper using metal dies and I fussy cut some branches and blossoms from the same paper.  I glued a piece of twine on the pink paper strip , arranged the leaves and branches along the twine and adhered them.

 

 

I embellished the garland with some of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Delightful – Ephemera, which are included in the June Main Kit and added some fussy cut blossoms. For my title I chose the Pinkfresh Studio – Happy Blooms – Green Puffy Alphabet Stickers, which you can find in the June Embellishment Kit. On each side of the title I placed a bird which I punched out from white cardstock.

 

 

I layered my photo with one of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Delightful – Journaling bits, which are also included in the June Main Kit, and added it to my page. Then I embellished it with one of the exclusive fabric bows, which are included in the June Embellishment Kit and one of the exclusive chipboard flairs, which you can find in the June Pocket Life Kit. I also added a sun, which I fussy cut from another Pocket Life card and a cloud and a word die cut.

 

 

I added two leaves and a butterfly die cut to the upper left corner of my layout. Then I cut clouds in different sizes using metal dies and arranged them on my page. Finally I added black color splatters, more fussy cut blossoms and some of the Pinkfresh Studio  – Happy Blooms – Enamel Dots, which are included in the June Pocket Life Kit.
