Hello everyone, Christina here with a new layout, using the Hip Kit Club May 2021 Main Kit only. I drew my inspiration from the “Sunset” foam and cardstock letter stickers with that gorgeous ombré effect, so I knew right away that I would use mostly yellow and pink on my page, and this is how it turned out:

I started by cutting two bigger strips of pink and yellow patterned paper and arranged them like two rays from the bottom left to the upper right corner on my white cardstock (8.5 x 11″).
Next, I layered my photo on a couple of patterned papers cut slightly bigger than my photo.
Then I gathered all kinds of embellishments – like fussy cut flowers and butterflies, Jen Hadfield accent stickers and also hearts and stars from the letter sticker sheet – in two clusters around my photo.
Finally, I added my title, the journaling, and some paint splatters.
I love the contrast between the soft colours and the (almost) black and white photo and the dark paint splatters. Hope you like it too and got a little bit inspired… Thank you so much for stopping by!
