Since I didn’t get my hands on the March and April kits yet, I focussed on the beautiful Simple Stories Chipboard Frames and Stickers from the February kits ! I love their beautiful bright colors and the dimension that it adds to my page.
I also wanted to use this inspiring Pocket Life card for my title, and it fit perfectly in one of the frames.
I grounded my page with three strips of patterned paper from the Paper kit; the Simple Stories Hello Today February Paper, the Pinkfresh Studio Some Days What a Day Paper and the HKC Exclusive Heartfelt Love Connection Paper.
I did some machine stitching with yellow thread.
I also stitched directly on the Simple Stories frame. It worked perfectly !
Then, I embellished around my photo and title with some chipboard stickers and a Pinkfresh Studio floral die cut from the February Main kit.
I created a little cluster of embellishments on the lower portion of the page, again with chipboard stickers and a label and tag that are HKC exclusives from the Embellishment kit.
Finally, I hand wrote my journaling and stamped the date !
