Hi everyone, welcome back to the HKC Blog, Jana here with you today, sharing a moodboard inspired project with you. This is also my first layout with the awesome february 2021 HipKits! So exciting!

This is our moodboard to play with and i LOVE it!

I was totally inspired by the rainbow colors and the flower cluster around the wheel. I had a look into all of the february 2021 kits and grabbed all the pieces i like… so, there were a lot to choose from! I also decided to add a black stitched rainbow onto my background paper. Inspired by the black and white stripes on the image above!

I knew that i wanted to add some rainbow colored elements right under the black stitching. I cut out some wonky clouds from a exclusive Pocket Life Card and from one of the pink colored exclusive paper from the Main Kit.

I also cut out some little rainbows from the Echo Park paper, grabbed little bits and bos from all of the paper ephemera pieces and started to layer everything very close together. My picture shows some of my new giant awesome paintbrush holders. I love them so much…

Before i started to glue down all the pieces i needed some more color under all of the paper things! I grabbed the best looking watercolor stickers from the Embellishment Kit and sticked them onto my white background paper. They look like painted details and i LOVE them! I need like ten packs of them, ha!

I used 3D square to add some dimension and shadows to my layering work. There were added lots of little color matching hearts and the word “INSPIRATION”. I used the cute little Pinkfresh Studio puffy alphas and i used the same colors as i went with my row of embellishments. I love how it turned out. As you can see i scattered the little dots, that were included on the alpha sheet, around my clusters.

The final touches are my journaling lines and one of the clear exclusive stickers! Just a perfect little saying! I am very happy about this layout and i really hope you are inspired to create a page inspired by the moddboard very soon!
