Hello Hip Kit Club Friends!
Francesca here, and today the design team is sharing projects for the Blue, Pink & Red Color Challenge! Yay! The January 2021 kits are an explosion of color, so you’ll find many elements to choose from of these three colors and their nuances and I couldn’t wait to get creating for this challenge!
I have been so smitten by the super cute paper with the rainbow featured in the January Hip kits, that I decided to use it and change the colors to fit those of the challenge. Here’s what I crafted.
“SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW”
This time, I tried to do an experiment, because the title of the page is made with alphabet puffy stickers, but they weren’t the colors I needed and so I tried to recolor them with acrylic colors and then decorated them with the indelible pen. Would you say they’re the January kits alphabets?
Sometimes it happens that you want to use embellishments but the colors of a specific element don’t always match your project. This butterfly is so beautiful, I just adapted it by making some blue accents that I made with my glitter blue pen.
