Hi Friends! I have a new layout to share with you today focusing on three main products: stencils, a color kit, and journaling bits. I worked with the beautiful November 2020 Hip Kits and I used a few products from past kits as well. This is my “2020 in review” page and I love that it takes me back in time to different days and events that made this year so crazy but also unique.

I started by applying two different colors of Nuvo Embellishment mousse onto my cardstock through a stencil. These pastes are from the March 2020 Color Kit and this particular kit is still available on the Hip Kit Club Website. I wanted to add texture and soft but shiny colors to my background and that is why I went with these. I also cut the black stripes from one of the Merry Everything patterned papers from the November Paper Kit and machine stitched them to the center of my white cardstock to create some contrast between the two colors.
I went ahead and printed 13 mini photos from 2020 and created a collage in the center of my layout with them. Happy and not so happy moments are there to help me remember “Every moment matters”. I used what I had left of the journaling bits and PL cards from the November 2020 Pocket Life Kit and layered them behind my collage and the top right corner.
I used the stars and acetate houses from the Embellishment Kit to add some spark to the project. I hope this project inspires you to get creative during this holiday season.
