Hey Hip Kit friends!

Katarina here today with a layout made using only the September 2020 Main Kit together with the Cardstock Kit.

 

I started with a wide vertical piece of black and white gingham patterned paper from the Crate Paper Marigold collection, that I adhered onto a piece of white cardstock and machine stitched with gold metallic thread.

 

 

To bring the main focus on the photo of my son enjoying some sunshine, I cut a giant tag out of the “Aqua” cardstock, combined it with the “Sweet Sunshine” Marigold patterned paper to add some interest and machine stitched around it with gold thread.

 

 

I used two other tags from the Marigold cut apart patterned paper “The Good Life” as layers behind my photo.

 

 

I created three clusters on my layout combining embellishments from Crate Paper Marigold, Pebbles The Avenue and Pinkfresh Studio Days of Splendor collections. I looove all the embellishments provided in this kit. They are so wonderfully combined.

 

 

I cut and distressed the right edge of my background paper and backed it with a piece of “Sweet Sunshine” patterned paper. For my title I used a combination of the golden “Lovely Phrase Stickers” from the Marigold collection and the colorful little puffy alphabet from Days of Splendor, which I machine stitched to the background.

 

 

A bunch of little gold hearts and here comes the final result. I really enjoyed creating this layout, it was so much fun!
