Hello everyone, Christina here! Since it’s Friday, it’s time for a new weekly challenge over at the Hip Kit Club Facebook group. And this week, we have: a moodboard challenge. So first of all, here’s the October moodboard created by Morag Cutts:

 

 

Unfortunately, I’m still waiting for my September Kits to arrive, so I used the Hip Kit Club August 2020 Main & Embellishment Kit for my page, and here it is:

 

 

I took the inspiration for my page from the photo with the hanging leaves obviously, so I started my page by printing some leaves on a white paper to use them as templates on various patterned papers from the Main Kit.

 

 

 

 

Next, I attached a piece of yarn to my page by simply glewing down the ends to the back side of my white cardstock. Then I arranged my fussy cut leaves, my photo and all kinds of embellishments from the Main Kit and the Embellishment Kit.

 

 

Since part of the challenge is to include a cut file, I cut one of the subscriber cut files on a light blue cardstock, but only used the “FUN” from “SAY YES TO FUN”, and added some small fussy cut flowers to it. Finally, I added my journaling and some paint splatters.
