Hi Friends, it’s Katarina here again! Today I’m sharing another 12×12 layout and this time I only used the August 2020 Main Kit and the Cardstock Kit. My assignment was to use a quilted or patchwork design and include stitching so let’s see what I created.

 

 

I used white textured cardstock from the Cardstock Kit as my background and then as I went through my Main Kit I found out the branding strips from the exclusive Awesome Life patterned papers are so pretty, I just simply had to use them for my design.

 

 

I weaved them in a way that I created a cross on my page and before I adhered them, I machine stitched along the cross on my background paper.

 

 

I placed a photo of my lovely son next to the cross intersection and got crazy with embellishing. I fussy cut a lot of the beautiful flowers from the exclusive patterned paper called Petal Pushers. I only went for blue, pink and yellow ones. I layered them around my photo and mixed them with a bunch of the exclusive die cuts and chipboard stickers.

 

 

 

As a finishing touch I added a bunch of small flowers and hearts fussy cut from the same patterned paper. Last step was framing my layout with the pretty Wisteria cardstock that we got in the Cardstock Kit.

 

 

This is my final layout. I love how it turned out. Everything in the kits plays so well together, it makes it really easy and so much fun to create beautiful pages. Hope I inspired you to create something pretty today, friends! Thank you for stopping by.
