Hi there friends. Each week we have a brand new challenge and this week’s challenge is my favourite – a sketch challenge.  Team member Niki Rowland has created a stunning sketch making it easy to create.

I have used the amazing August Main Kit and Embellishment kit for my layouts – I love all the Hip Kit exclusives in this kit especially the patterned papers and those stunning chipboard stickers!

As you can see, I have stuck to the sketch for placement of the elements.  I used the manufacturer strips at the bottom of the papers to form the foundation of the page. This made it easier for me to place the circle elements.

There great patterns to choose from in the Main Kit – I chose some of the lighter papers to die-cut so that they don’t overpower my photo and elements. The stickers in the Simple Stories Sticker Book found in the Embellishment kit are great for journaling and accents. I moundted the larger stickers onto cardstock for more impact.

I fussy cut the Wall Flower paper with its monochromatic flowers. If you’re not a fan of fussy cutting you will find this paper easy to cut as there are not too many detailed nooks and crannies.

The chipboard stickers in the main kit are just stunning – they are self-adhesive and have bright and bold designs. I finished off the design with the Simple Stories decorative brads from the August Embellishment kit.
