Hi everyone, it’s Vicki here today to share my layout for mixed media Monday. I have used the Nuvo Embellishment Mousse from the July 2020 Color Kit.

I started by mixing some Nuvo embellishment mousse with a small amount of white acrylic paint and some water to make it a little more fluid. Then I used my brayer to spread it onto the page. It leaves quite rough edges, but I like the effect it gives. I also used some white acrylic paint to make splatters on the orange.
I used a lot of embellishments on this page. Some were pre-made chipboard pieces from Simple Stories Kate & Ash collection, some were fussy cut from the Jen Hadfield floral paper, I backed some of the dear lizzy clear stickers on white cardstock and fussy cut them out.
I stuck some of the Simple Stories washi tape to some white cardstock and punched three circles from it to use as additional embellishments. I also added a heart cut in half from the glittered cardstock as an added touch of bling.
I wanted to use some of the Maggie Holmes frames on this layout and I used them to frame my title rather than the photo. I added the Simple Stories XOXO foam stickers to the frames and placed them above the photo.
