Hello everyone! Christina here, sharing a layout featuring the Hip Kit Club July 2020 Main, Embellishment & Cardstock Kits, plus one of the gorgeous July 2020 subscriber cut files.

First of all, here’s the page I created:

 

 

I started by cutting my white cardstock a little smaller than 12×12″, and distressed the edges. Next, I applied some highly diluted tourquise acrylic paint to it, and once it was dry, I glued my cardstock on the striped 12×12″ patterned paper by Jen Hadfield.

 

 

 

Then I cut the “Hello Summer” cut file from the Pink Paislee “And many more” paper, but since you couldn’t read it well against the white cardstock, I decided to back it up with the orange “Arroyo” cardstock from the Cardstock Kit.

 

 

 

(Oh, in case you’re wondering, I adjusted the cutfile a little bit by cutting off the sun)

Next, I matted my photo on two patternd papers and arranged it behind the cut file. And then, the fun part began. The fussy cutting! I cut some flowers from the Jen Hadfield “Happy day” paper as well as some tropical leaves from the “High five” paper by Dear Lizzy, and arranged them along with some “Bring on the Sunshine” die cuts (Hip Kit Club exclusives!) from the Main Kit and Simple Stories chipboard stickers from the Embellishment Kit.

 

 

Some finnishing touches like sequins from the Pink Paislee “5th & Monaco” Mixed Embellishments pack, and enamel dots from the Main Kit…
