Hello Hip Kit friends!
It’s Angela here with a new layout for the Hip Kit Club Weekly Challenge. This time the challenge is all about colors and the three I’ve chosen are Pink, Yellow and Orange.
I am using one of the gorgeous exclusive July cut files that you can find here, on the Hip Kit Club web site and the June 2020 Main and Embellishment kits.
To create this summery page, I started from a 12″ Bazzil White and I smudge some pink, orange and yellow watercolors. These are Magicals from our previous Hip Kit Color kits. When the color was dry, I adhered on top the Bazzil White I use to cut the Hello Summer cut file using adhesive tape. Then, I placed the cut file itself in the center and I adhered it with foam tape to give dimension.
At this point, I started decorating the page. First, I added a couple of the Pinkfresh Studio Bows that come from June 2020 Embellishment kit. These are so adorable and fun!
On the bottom page I created a line of pockets using the Journaling Bits, again by Pinkfresh Studio. Here is where I placed the journaling, hidden inside the pockets. On top of them, I adhered the photo.
I decorated all around with bits and pieces from the kits, preferring the tiny ones that matched the color scheme of the challenge. I used die cuts, puffy stickers, enamel dots and the fun sequins that I love.
That’s all for today my friends. I hope you liked the page and feel inspired to participate to the Weekly Challenge that take place on the Facebook Hip Kit Club Group. Have a beautiful crafty weekend!
Love, NG
