Hey everyone, this is Niki (@nikiclairecreates) with my latest layout for Hip Kit Club and it’s my first layout using the AMAZING June kits. I was SOOOO excited for them to arrive! You can find them on the Hip Kit Club website here.

So today I am playing along with the weekly challenge which is a sketch. It’s actually a traveller’s notebook style sketch but I am going to make a 12×12 layout. I have used the exclusive Stamp Kit that was available this month to stamp those adorable little houses in different colours. I used the ink pads from the June Color Kit to stamp them and then stamped the outlines in a dark grey ink to give them definition. I then fussy cut them, and cut the roofs off and put them back together with the opposite colour roof. They look so cute like that. I then used them as embellishments.
I wanted my layout to have two distinct halves to represent the sketch. I choose one of the Pinkfresh Studio Let’s Stay Home papers from the June Main Kit to go on the right side of the layout. I trimmed all the stripes, distressed them and added them to the layout.
I used Pocket Life cards from the Pocket Life Kit to build up my clusters. I also used lovely vellum houses from the Vellum Die Cuts pack in the Main Kit and one of those gorgeous pockets from the Let’s Stay Home collection in the Embellishment Kit.
