Hi everyone, welcome back to the Hip Kit Club Blog today. Jana with you again and i have a fun and colorful layout to share. I used some pretty CutFiles (you can find them HERE in the Shop), the awesome APRIL 2020 Hip Kits and a cute picture from a sleeping puppy.

I started with the butterfly subscriber CutFile, designed by Anett, and the Art Philosophy liquid watercolors from the April Color Kit. I mixed the “blush” and the “honey” together to get some pretty orange shades. I dipped the butterflies into the color and finished them with some splatters. I placed the second part from the butterflies on top and secured them in the middle.

I really love how pretty they are! I also used the gorgeous wreath CutFile. There are some awesome papers in the MainKit, with flowers, lemons and leaves on it, i did some fussy cutting and placed everything on top from the wreath. But before i glued everything down i decided to add some green to my background paper. I used the green color “lucky” from the color kit for this. I only used two or three drops from the color to a piece of plastic and added lots of water too. Smudged it around the paper and finished it with some green splatters.

I had some leftover rainbows from one of the Heidi Swapp papers from the March Kits. The colors are peferctly matching and i added two of them to the mix of flowers and butterflies. The puppy is sleeping and the big pink “dream big” piece were peferct to use here.

My title is short and simple, “sweet O” and the O stands for his name, Odin! He is so adorable but is making a lot of work… but makes everyone in our family happy!

I really love how this layout turned out, i love the bright colors against the black & white photo. I love how the butterflies turned out and i just LOVE the holographic alpha thickers.
