Product Focus on Maggie Holmes Papers and Chipbaord Sticker | 12×12 Layout by Daniela Janke

Hi everyone and welcome back to the HipKitClub Blog today, it’s Daniela again with a brand new layout. I focussed on the Maggie Holmes papers and Chipboard Stickers and also decided to work with two main colors only, pink and yellow. I love that combination and the April 2020 Hip Kits offer so many beautiful bits and pieces in those colors. Let’s take a look at the page:

I worked with the cut-apart Confection paper from Maggie Holmes and used it in different ways. First of all, I fussy cut the little horse from the paper. This was just perfect for my photo. Another piece functions as a frame for my picture, the flower patterned pieces are part of my layering as well as the “Hello Lovely” piece. The little paper stripes with words and phrases are also cut from the Confection paper. I love the variety this sheet offers.

I layered everything on top of two paper stripes on which I cut fringes on one side. For this, I worked with the yellow cardstock from the Cardstock Kit and with another paper from Maggie Holmes.

After finishing the big paper cluster, the fun part started. First, I picked all the pink and yellow pieces from the Maggie Holmes Chipboard Stickers from the Embellishment Kit. I love the hot balloon, the lady bug, the cute yellow bow and the little bee.

The fussy cut stars and the Layered Butterfly add further details. There’s lots going on on this page – just the way I like it.
