Hey Hip Kit friends! I’m back to share another layout with you all about one of the most classic “mom moments” at my house – the look. You know, the one when you say something you think is funny, but your teenager doesn’t? That one.

 

 

I used the April 2020 Main Kit to document this little story after I snapped the perfect example of that face!

 

 

I added a bunch of paper scraps behind my photo to create some layers and added my title tone-on-tone with the pink Thickers from the kit. I was glad it included question marks because “Seriously Mom?” worked perfectly for my title.

 

 

I added layers around my photo, adding texture by distressing the edges of my papers, adding staples, and even doodling some faux stitching and scribbles.

 

 

I fussy cut hot air balloons from patterned paper and included some of the layered Crate Paper butterfly stickers for some whimsy.

 

 

I finished by adding my date peeking out from behind one of the rips in my rainbow background! If you would like to see how it came together, be sure to watch the process video below!
