Hi beautiful Hip Kit Club community, Cristina here with you with a new page made with the mixed media technique.
Soon it will be Mother’s Day and to celebrate it I thought of using the photo of her that I like most and that reminds me of her as a young woman how beautiful she was and how little I look like her, ahahahahhaah.
For this page I used watercolors to make my background combined with the embellishments that I would have used as a decoration and that you can find in the embellishment kit.
To obtain this spot effect I always prefer to use a white bazzill sheet, this is a canvas one, which is inside the cardstock kit.
However, to break the rigor of the solid color a bit, I added two strips on the top and bottom of the sheet, trying to put them slightly crooked but in perfect balance between them, from one of the patterned papers in the paper kit. I love this black and white pattern and I like to add a touch of these two colors to my pages. I find that they help to rebalance the whole composition.
Another element that I really like to add is a golden touch and in the March kits I found many decorative decorations, both in the Pebbles and Heidi Swapp stickers and in fact on this page I put them together easily.
The Crate Paper fabric bow is truly wonderful. I’d attack them anywhere.
I even thought of taking advantage of the cardboard inserted in the packs of die-cuts and stickers of Jane Hadfield by Pebbles in the shape of a honeycomb because I really like the golden profile that I inserted as a final touch on the black and white stripes.
Really beautiful embellishments in the April Kits, I can’t stop use them because they are so perfect for my taste and my creative way to make scrapbooking projects.
Thanks a lot for stopping by and joining me today, see yuo to the next post.
