Hey everybody! Emilie here with a layout inspired by the March Mood Board. I used the gorgeous February Hip Kits for this monochromatic layout which is packed full of Paige Evans Bloom Street and Pinkfresh Studio Noteworthy.

The March Mood Board designed by Lauren Hender is so inspiring! I was particularly attracted to the “+” pattern and decided early on this would be what my layout would focus on.

I also wanted to reflect the mix of texture by using velum, paint and volume by using sticky foam pads for some of my elements.

My layout is about a day out we had where we rented a little car for Sophia to go around the mall. We caught ourselves singing the song “Ridin” by Chamillionaire and it just stuck! I had to use the chorus for my title!

I started off by painting crosses with white acrylic on my cardstock using two different sizes flat paint brushes. I then cut a cross in the velum and stitched it to my background. I cut out several crosses of different sizes in several blue patterned papers.

I finished off by adding several Pink Fresh Studio stickers around my layout.

Thank you so much for joining me today. Head over to the Hip Kit Club website to get yourself some of these gorgeous kits and bag yourself a subscription.
Happy scrapping xxx
