Hello HipKit fans, Marinette here today to share with you a Project Life Spread using the gorgeous February 2020 Project Life Kit. My assignment today was to use border punches and stitching.
So here is my 9×12 spread ::

My first question was :: where to use border punches on my PL… Can you believe that I hadn’t used any border punches since a very long time?? Such a shame… Border punches are so awesome to use. I started by choosing some patterned papers from the February 2020 Paper kit. Then I gathered some scalloped border punches to create some strips from each paper chosen. From there I chose to add on each little border strip, one sticker from the PinkFresh Studio Noteworthy Cardstock stickers and adhered it on my 4×6 black and white photo. I really love how it turned out. Then I chose some PL cards from the Project Life kit and placed them here and there on my spread.
For my stitching I simply perforated holes with a paper piercing tool and from there stitched it all with some embroidery thread. Very basic and simple as that. My stitching is not as clean as it was made with a machine stitching but i love it as it is.
Look at this gorgeous bird and butterfly ♥
And voilà. I hope you’ll feel inspired to get creating more PL spreads with your Project Life kit 😉 Thanks for stopping by! Have a lovely day. Xoxo Marinette
