Hi ladies Cristina here today to show you my newest february project. Today is Friday so the weekly challenge has started and I followed the sketch by Lauren to make my own inspiration.
Here it is the beautiful sketch she made full of polka dots I really love. I decided to follow the round shape and make a craft page using only that shape.
I decided to set the job on the right side of the sheet and to concentrate the various dots on that side only. I have a creative mind based on the basic rules of photography so I just can’t fill the whole sheet with the decoration and everything I insert in the visual field must be in perfect harmony and symmetry to the whole vision. At the base of my pages there is a very accurate visual study, mine of course, for which each element must fit perfectly with the rest. Even if the circles seem randomly added here, this is absolutely not as it seems. The combination of the various measures is balanced by what has been put on the opposite corner.
I chose to use the basic craft card present in the January cardstock kit that I love and that I don’t often have the opportunity to use. Then I chose to use the colors in the photo of which in the kit I had a wide choice. I preferred the lighter shades of blue by combining a white card with black to create a balance between the various combinations.
To follow the scallop shape by the sketch I decided to use a Pinkfresh die with scallop theme available in two different sizes. Then I added some ephemera die-cuts and floral one to the round elements to get gently touches.
I cut the various dots from the scraps of paper obtained with the die and I really liked the punched effect that I added to the composition. As I usually do all the layers are glued using the foam double tape to create a gorgeous 3d effect.
Word puffy stickers is my title and I really fell in love for that stickers. All inside those kits is really amazing and I can’t wait to have the February one to start working for any other new adventures with it.
And what about you? Is there someone who subscribed the kit and maybe already have the february one to tell me something about it?
Waiting for your comments I really thank you for stopping by and see you.
