Hello, HKC friends!!! It’s Donna here on the blog today sharing my very first layout using the January Hip Kit! I totally love everything in this kit and I couldn’t wait to make more in the coming days and I hope you like them all!
For this week, we’re to create something that has hearts and rainbows. I’ve never done something like this before although I’ve always liked them. I just have a hard time segregating each element per color! Ha! Finally today I was able to do that and do something out of my comfort zone.
I splattered watercolors first on the white cardstock background before adhering anything else. Then I used a butterfly border punch to cut the Looking For Sunshine patterned paper and arranged it as seen in the image.

I used foam tape to some of the stickers/die cuts to create dimension. I also fussy cut the floral patterns from Bloom & Grow patterned paper.
Lastly, I scattered the Lucky Us enamel hearts placing each one to its respective color.
This was so fun to make and I really love how it turned out.
