Morning, y’all! It’s Jinny here today with a sweet page to share with you all. It was inspired by the metallics and hexagon, not to mention the color palette, found in the Mood Board below and boasts goodies from both the November and December 2019 Main Kits, as well as the December 2019 Embellishment and Color Kits. I paired it all with pics of my littlest from when he was about nine-months-old. It’s so hard for me to believe that he will be turning six-years-old in less than two weeks!
I started this page by adding puddles of Martina’s Marigold, Jana’s Jade, and Andrea’s Azalea Magical Powders to the 12″ x 12″ watercolor, paper, base page. I then splattered it with those same Lindy’s Gang Magical Powders, as well as Pure Black & Titanium White acrylic paints. That set the stage for my hexagons which were Cameo-cut from the Silent Night and All Is Bright prints from the November 2019 Main Kit and the Frosted, Harmony, Color Flow, and Everglow prints from the December 2019 Main Kit. They were all anchored, with copper-threaded, straight, machine stitches, around my hand-cut, hexagon photos, which were matted with white cardstock. I then scattered lots of hand-cut, from the Foil Star Cardstock, and Chipboard Sticker stars, as well as Chill Foil Accent Thickers snowflakes, throughout the design.
I used the “let’s stay in” Chipboard Sticker tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow, as my title. It was sandwiched between another Chipboard Sticker snow-globe, topped with a So Frosty Die-Cut bow and a “SO VERY chilly” So Frosty Flair Button.
Moving clockwise, I dressed up the bottom corner with a So Frosty Die-Cut pair of ice-skates, popped up with foam tape and backed with a couple of the elements already mentioned above.
A trio of Chipboard Sticker trees and snowman create the bulk of the cluster in the bottom, left corner of my design. It was further embellished with Chill Foil Accent Sticker trees; a “Winter is coming” So Frosty Die-Cut phrase; So Frosty Flair Button, backed with a tangle of copper thread; and a Make a Wish Tree Die Cut from the November 2019 Main Kit.
A “baby bear” phrase, made from Black Foil Chipboard Thickers, brings us back to the top of the page and completes the look. My little guy got this nickname because he was born five weeks early and covered in lots of blond lanugo.
Here’s that gorgeous Mood Board that started it all.
Thanks ever so much for humbling us with a visit! Have a blessed day, Hip Kit Club friends!
