Hello friends. Anett here with my take on this week’s sketch provided by Sophie. I loved the torn papers, the splatters, the stitching so I created a layout with all these techniques.

I created my background with Lindy’s, the gold paint (Jen Hadfield) is from the DD Mixed- Media kit. I just dabbed the watered down colors on the page, and added lots of splatters.
With the torn patterned papers I created a winter scene with hills. The lovely trees from the ephemera pack make this scene so wintry. I selected the blue, green, pink trees, that match the patterned papers behind.
I used foam adhesive dots to create dimension on my page. I did the stitching with gold tread and made simple cross stitching.
