Hello, friends! Donna here with a couple of Christmas-y cards using the November kits(Main and Embellishment kits). I’ve been thinking of making these pop-up cards and today is the perfect time to create some.
I had to Google the measurements for this card and there are tons. To make it easier I settled with 8.5″ x 4″ scored in the middle of 4″ and then score at every 2″ to create the panels. Cut at the 2″ score lines stopping in the middle. I also cut 2 pieces of .5″ x 3″ of paper strips and adhered inside to place the embellishments that will “pop” when the card is opened.
I used mounting foam tape to adhere the embellishments for a bit of dimension without being too bulky or getting in the way opening and closing the card.
I also added a mixture of sequins to add some glitter.
I love setting up and decorating Christmas trees and it’s one of the things I miss the most during the holiday season. I haven’t done it since living here in Saudi Arabia for almost ten years so I just make it up by making cards like these! That’s why I love the pack of Christmas tree die-cuts in the November kit as well as the different shapes of gift boxes!
I hope you liked these cards as much as I do. Thank you for dropping by and see you in my next post!
It so in christmas mood and I just love it! Merry Chirstma! You did a wonderful project.
