Hello everyone! Christina here with a new layout to inspire you on this Mixed Media Monday. I used both the November 2019 Main and Embellishment Kit plus one of the exclusive November cut files which you can download for free as a Kit subscriber.

I started by cutting the cut file on a white cardstock and painted it with black acrylic paint to give a strong contrast to the patterned papers I used to back it up. To repeat the black elements on my layout, I also painted some of the exclusive Watercolor Paper Die Cuts from the Color Kit.

Then I added my photo, matted on some patterned paper and a piece from the packaging from the Main Kit. The photo shows my Dad, cooking our Christmas Dinner last year. He’s not only the world’s best Dad, but also the world’s best chef! <3

Around my photo and in the top left corner I clustered and layered various embellishments, like the cute Ephemera pieces such as the red car from the Main Kit and the floral Ephemera from the Embellishment Kit.

To finish off the layout, I came up with the idea to extend the HO HO HO title by adding “LIDAYS” from the “HOLIDAYS” Puffy Phrase Sticker to “HO HO HOLIDAYS”. And I also added some black, red and blue paint splatters.
