Wreath cut file moodboard inspired layout | Sophie Delorme

Hello everyone !  Sophie here to share a moodboard inspired layout !

We’ve got an amazing moodboard to get inspired this month, created by Niki Rowland.

I was inspired by the hexagonal forms on the top left photo, and also by the wooden wall on the bottom left. I used  the November 2019 kits .

I started by cutting the gorgeous hexagonal wreath November cut file designed by Anett Gelencser. I cut extra mistletoe leaves to build two huge clusters around my photo. I used the Silent Night paper, which is from the exclusive “Make a Wish” HKC collection, as my background.

I decided to ink some of the mistletoe leaves and also applied a shimmery coat from my stash.

I cut the center of my background paper, added a little bit of gesso around it and some white acrylic paint and gold splatters.

For the center of the layout, I used the Make a Wish 6×6 stencil from the November color kit with modeling paste and added tiny bits of the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Cuckoo Cardinal Red powder in some areas for a very soft look.

I stitched the wreath to my page and backed the whole background with adhesive foam to add extra dimension.

Then, I went crazy with a lot of fussy cutting out of the patterned papers and Pocket Life cards, and embellished my two mistletoe clusters.

I also tucked in plenty of Exclusive Floral Ephemeras (embellishment kit) in my clusters and around the wreath.

I used the Puffy White Alphabet stickers (main kit) for my title and colored (gesso than gold paint) the word “my” from alphabet stickers from a previous kit.

I also stitched throught my title with white thread.

Here are the close-ups, I took a ton of them !

I hope you feel inspired by this page, the moodboard and all the beautiful Hip Kit Club cut files ! These November kits are over the top gorgeous !!! Make sure you grab them before they disappear !
