Hello friends! It’s Jung here, and I’m sharing a layout that I created using the October 2019 Hip kits. Today, I am focusing on the Embellishment kit for my Halloween layout.
There are so many goodies in the embellishment kit. The font on the gold thickers is so pretty, and I love all the Hip Kit Club exclusives.
I decided to use a cut file to frame my photos. It’s an October subscriber cutfile called leaf wreath, and I cut it from white cardstock using my silhouette machine. For my background, I used this gorgeous Pretty Little Studio paper. The color of this paper is spot on for my photos, and I love the painted vibe. I added just a little more white splatters, then I lightly adhered the wreath, and machine stitched it through the middle.

I backed my photos with a few HKC exlcusive PL cards, and added them to the left side of the layout. Next I added my title. I used the pretty gold thickers as well as the tiny puffy alpha.
Next, I embellished with some items from the Embellishment kit. I used some of the floral and leafy ephemera, as well as some of the stickers (I loved all the tiny hearts). I used the HKC exclusive stamp set to stamp the stitched heart and the “you’re the best” sentiment. I also added a few enamel dots along the wreath.
I fussy cut the label from a HKC exclusive PL card, and I used it for my journaling. To finish off my layout, I added the branding strip from this same paper, and adhered it to the bottom of the layout.
