Hello everyone! It’s Christina here with a new layout inspiration for you. Today, I would like to show you a layout inspired by the Jen Hadfield “Home Sweet Home” Paper from the “This is Family” collection, included in the Hip Kit Club September 2019 Main Kit.
I always love black and white papers. They’re just so versatile and go with pretty much everything. But I hardly used the “Home Sweet Home” paper so far on my September Kit projects, so it was about time!
I was thinking about a fun way to incorporate it, so I came up with the idea to draw a very simple skyline (basically just rectangles and triangles) on a piece of cardstock and use it as a stencil on various patterned papers and also the White Vellum from the Cardstock Kit.
Next, I tore some white cardstock to a smaller shape than my green Dear Lizzy “One More Chapter Paper”, so that there would be some space left on the bottom to place my title.
I put my photo behind a self made frame (I used one of the Dear Lizzy “She’s Magical” Chipboard Frames from the Embellishment Kit as a stencil), and as on most of my layouts, I also incorporated fussy cut elements like flowers, tiny houses, etc., and clustered and layered them around my framed photo.
Finally some paint splatters…
… and that’s it for today, my crafty friends. I hope you have enjoyed my layout. Have an awesome day!
XOXO
Christina
