Hey Everyone, Niki here today with a Moodboard Inspired layout.

My other assignment was to use lots of circles, punched or die cut on my layout. Here is a look at the July Moodboard. I love working with moodboards, they give so much inspiration. From this one I used the colours, the circles, the hearts and the stars.

I started by using my manual die cutting machine to crop my photo into a circle shape. I then cut lots of rosettes from different patterned papers from the June Kits. I mounted my photo onto patterned paper.

I assembled my rosettes using a hot glue gun and then began sticking everything down. I then punched loads more circles from all the patterned paper using my circle punches.

I layered up the circles, some with foam pads, some flat and some on top of the rosettes. I added a title using Thickers.

I added lots of circle stickers from the Vicki Boutin Thickers and Shimelle Thickers. I also added puffy circle stickers too. I also added lots of tiny enamel hearts.

I had planned to add mixed media to this layout but I got to this point and decided it really didn’t need it! I didn’t want to go overboard as there’s a lot going on with this layout anyway. I also like the crisp clean white background with all those colours.
