Hey everyone, Niki here today with a layout I made with the June 2019 kits. I’m focusing on using the Pinkfresh Studio Out & About frames.

The Out & About collection is a travel themed collection but I decided to go down the ‘adventure’ route instead. These photos are of my little boy on a day out hunting dinosaurs…roar!! Where the phrases on the Out & About frames were too travel themed for my photos, I simply covered up those bits with other ephemera.

I started off by backing my frames with a piece of Vicki Boutin paper and my photos. My photos weren’t wide enough to fill the frames so there was an area of patterned paper beside the photo in each frame. I figured I could see this as a ‘design feature’ and perhaps fill those spaces with embellishments. I actually ended up filling them with my title.

I arranged the three frames and built each one into a cluster. I added fussy cut leaves from the Simple Stories Sunshine and Blue Skies collection and added a floral spray to each cluster. I also added three Pinkfresh Studio Out & About paperclips to each cluster and added ephemera.

I finished off by adding my title, some machine stitching and a few splatters using the blue Lindy’s Magicals. Oh and a foam flower…don’t you just LOVE those!
