Hello everyone and happy Thursday ! Sophie here to share a cute layout created with the May 2019 main kit.

My assignment today was to create custom layered dimensional embellishments and incorporate some stitching on my page using the main kit only.
I started by cutting 3 identical oval shapes with my cutting machine in a vertical way on white Cardstock. I thought about using 3 photos and tuck some embellishments in those oval shapes, backed with the beautiful dotted paper from Crate Paper that is in the main kit. You kind of get the idea on the photo right below.
I added a little bit of the pink and yellow Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical shakers from the May color kit blended with water on my cardstock and some blue powder from the April color kit as well. I also added a few white splatters with acrylic paint.
Then, I punched holes around the three shapes to do a chain link stitch with white embroidery floss around them.
For my assignment, I created 2 layered tags done by fussy cutting the gorgeous pink flowers from the Crate Paper All Heart Wallflower Paper and the small detailed flowers from the Pinkfresh Studio Joyful Day Just Right Paper. I also added a Dimensional Fabric Bow to each tag that are HKC Exclusive.
I finally put my title and journaling, and some HKC exlcusive Ephemeras here and there to finish it up.
Here are the close-ups. The design of this layout is a bit different from what I usually do, but I truly like how it turned out. I hope it will inspire you to get creative with your kits ! Thank you so much for passing by !
