Welcome back to the Hip Kit Club blog. Today I am sharing with you a layout using some beautiful mixed media supplies and an over sized cut file. Yes, your seeing it correctly, it’s huge. Now you are probably thinking ‘this layout doesn’t look like what Lauren normally creates’ as I was thinking it too but I was having a great time splashing shimmerz products everywhere so that’s what’s important right.. lol.

This layout was created using the March 2019 kits. To create this layout I firstly began with adding clear gesso to some white cardstock, then with Shimmerz Paints products Sunflower – shimmerz, Ride the Tide – Creameez and Good Ol’ Summer Time – Creameez I began to play around adding colour here and there. Between each colour I dried off with a heat gun to help the colours not to blend.
The wonderful thing about using mixed media products are that you are able to create one of a kind work. I have been receiving the same colour kits each month for over 6 months and not one time have I ever seen a mixed media layout the same.
