Hey there Hip Kit Club Fans, Niki here today. For my layout today I have followed today’s new sketch up on the Hip Kit Club Facebook Group. As well as following the sketch I have also followed a Recipe of items that had to be included: Bow, Bird, Blue, Bling, Butterfly and a Big Word.

I started off by choosing my photos…my photos are slightly larger than the tiles represented by the sketch. I wanted very much to include five photos/tiles and you’ll see in the video that I struggled to fit them all in, in fact I didn’t quite manage it!

I made sure I pulled out the items from the Recipe list so that I didn’t forget to include them. I added tabs at the top of each of my photos to represent the tabs on the sketch.

I’ve used a mixture of all the March kits for this layout. I had the Main Kit, Project Life Kit, Embellishment Kit and the Color Kit. I used the Color Kit to colour the doilies. I simply sprayed the white doilies with the Lindy’s Starburst Sprays, left them to dry and then used them as layers under each of my photos.

I added my big title using a mixture of alphas. I’ve used the Doodlebug Stickers and the Maggie Holmes Sunny Days Black Thickers, as well as the word ‘Laugh’ from the Maggie Holmes Sunny Days Sticker sheet, and I needed a few small alphas too so I raided my little letters from past kits.
