My assignment for today was to do a rainbow theme layout with lots of texture. My color scheme was inspired from the beautiful Hip Kit Exclusive epoxy heart stickers from the main kit. At first, I sprayed some doilies with the Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays that we got in the March 2019 Color Kit and one yellow Prima Marketing mist from the January 2019 Color kit, and arranged them in a rainbow order.
I added splatters of those inks around my page to match the different colored doilies and lightly traced around them with a pencil as a guide to do some color-matched stitching for extra texture.
Then, I played with the embellishments from the March main kit, Pocket Life kit and Embellishment kit. Ah, I literally wanted to add all of them to my page…! I strategically put the little die cut rainbow to the center of the layout next to my title, added one of the gorgeous fabric bows from the Crate paper-Maggie Holmes Sunny Days collection on the bottom and I scattered here and there those epoxy hearts that inspired me to create this layout as the finishing touch !
