Todays layout is inspired by the wonderful March Moodboard Anke created for Hip Kit Club. I just cant’ get enough of that soft, spring-ish feel of it.
Some days ago, my boss gifted me these wonderful flowers for my birthday.
When I got my hands on them, I couldn’t help myself but think of the Mood Board and the Prima Color Bloom Sprays we got in the January 2019 Color Kit.
Of course I had to get some pictures of them and scrap them on a layout as soon as possible.
(Do you know this feeling, too? Something in your life catches your eye and you just know that you have to scrapbook it?)
The wonderful thing about the Hip Kits is, that they work wonderfully together. Not only each months kits coordinate perfectly together – you can also mix up the different months and still get a perfect match for your project.
That’s what I’ve done for this Mood Board Inspired Layout, too.
I have mixed the January 2019 Color Kit with papers and embellishments from HKC Feburary 2019 Kits.
To start, I have just added some of the Color Bloom Sprays with a big paint brush to my background paper. I tried to mix the colors as little as possible and stay in that soft feeling of the mood board.
The photos are backed with some of the Exclusive HKC Project Life Cards and each of them got a little stripe of the black and white striped Carta Bella paper that came in the February 2019 Main Kit.
I have glued the pictures down with pieces of 3d foam to get some extra dimension.
I finished off the embellishment part of the layout with some fussy cut frames and lots of wonderful Everyday Musings Pinkfresh Studio Stickers, Ephemera and Puffy Stickers.
To create my title, I have been using a fun mix of Pinkfresh Studio Joyful Day ‘Navy Script Puffy Alphabet Stickers’, ‘Mini Puffy Stickers’ and ‘Puffy Phrase Stickers’.
It was a really fun process to assemble these colorful letters and stickers to a title!
