Hello everyone! Christina here with a new layout, using the gorgeous Hip Kit Club December 2018 Main & Embellishment Kit. I was challenged to create a title by using a mix of puffy stickers from the Kits. Which indeed was a huge challenge for me, because when it come to creating titles, I usually prefer using phrase thickers! Well, I tried my best…

I started by cutting one of the patterned papers to the size of 11 x 8,5″, and adhering a white cardstock slightly smaller on it. Then I took my photo and began to think about the title. The photo was taken on the 24th of December in my workplace, and since I was the only one who was there, I could do a lot of things I’m usually not supposed to. Like wearing super comfy clothes, listening to music, taking some photos (can you spot me in the Christmas bauble?) etc. I felt a little bit naughty, and that’s how I came up with the title.

So I combined various of the Hip Kit Club exclusive puffy stickers, and stuck them down to the bottom of the page. Since there was no “UNDER”, I used the U and the N from “FUN”, the D and the E from “WONDER”, and the R from “MERRY”. Clever, right?

Then, I matted my photo. I used different patterned papers and even some packaging from the puffy stickes (if you look closely, you can spot the white paper with the light blue jots – that’s packaging).

The next step was adding some bits and pieces from the Main and the Embellishment Kit, like the cute bear, the black Christmas tree, a snowflake, a wood button, some puffy stickers etc.

Finally, the journaling: since there was not really enough space left to add it to the page, I went for some hidden journaling. This is a great way to add your journaling if a) you want to hide it because it’s personal or b) there is – like on my page – no space left or c) you totally forgot to add your journaling and your layout is already finished (happens to me quite often – please tell me I’m not the only one!)

So, that’s it for today, my crafty friends. I hope that I could inspire you to create your own title with all kinds of stickers, like puffy stickers, alphas, thickers, …
