Hi everyone, Anke here with you. Welcome to the last Mixed Media Monday in 2018. Today I’m sharing a layout made with the beautiful December Kits.

I started with wide black brushstrokes made with a paintbrush and black acrylic paint. Then I added some shimmering snowflakes using the stencil and the Shimmerz Dazzlers Paste from the December Color Kit.
I layered my photo with a piece of the red ‘Berry Burst’ paper and placed it in the bottom left corner of my page.
Finally I embellished my layout with lots of fussy cut branches, leaves, berries and blossoms from the Poinsettia Paper and the Holiday Holly Paper, Puffy Stickers and Epoxy Stickers.
I like how the black brushstrokes stand in contrast to the red and green of the papers and embellishments.
