Hello everyone! Christina here sharing a non-traditional Christmas layout with you, using the November 2018 Hip Kit Club Main Scrapbook Kit only. I created a christmas tree out of triangles, since the photo I wanted to use is a christmas tree ornament (which I bought back in the days when I was a teenager), so I thought that would match pretty well.
I’m not a traditional “red and green person” when it comes to Christmas decoration, and since there are no red elements in the Main Kit anyway, I went for the black, white and green papers in it, and combined them with golden, yellow and light pink embellishments.

I always love creating my own embellishments, so I made some ornaments with a circle punch and decorated the tree with them. To create even more dimension, I glued them down with adhesive foam tabs.
I matted my black and white photo with some patterned papers (which you can’t really see…), glued down the wreath from the HKC Exclusive Leaf Acetate Die Cuts pack on the photo, and added some more elements like twigs, fussy cut leaves and hearts, a tiny house etc. under and on top of the wreath.
I also used some of the HKC Exclusive Wood Veneer Stickers like the small leaves and this “so good!” tab – just love the gold accents!
To make the Acetate Die Cuts pop even more, I glued two of them down on patterned paper and fussy cut around them.
It’s all about the details, right?
