Hello everyone! It’s Christina here with a new layout to inspire you. I was asigned to do a wreath design (easy peasy, I love wreaths!), using the Main Kit only, so since my November 2018 Kit only just arrived and I feel like I haven’t played enough with the October 2018 Kit so far, I chose that one. Also, I love all the colours in the kit – you can do monochromatic (like pink & purple, or light & dark blue, …) layouts, or mix all the colours – either way, this Kit is so much fun to work with!

For my layout I combined some fussy cut flowers from the Pink Paislee / Paige Evans “Whimsical” Paper #3, and the Hexagons from the Paper #5, focussing on the pinks, blues and purples, since those are the main colours in my photos.

(The original idea was to do a pink and purple only layout, but when it came together, I found that it needed some pops of different colours here and there, so I added the light blue Hexagons and also some green and yellow accents).

The photos on the layout – showing my nieces and me doing a jigsaw puzzle – aren’t the best quality. They are just snapshots my sister-in-law took. But I love this memory so much, that I wanted to put them on a layout anyway! It makes me think of that moment when I said just for fun, after we completed the front side, “and now let’s do the backside!”. Again. Just for fun. Because the backside was just pink. And the two girls went like “YEAAAAAAAAAAAH!”. (And aunt Christina thinking secretly “NOOOOOOOOOOO!”) Lesson learned: Always think twice before you speak out in front of kids!
